You don't have your license? Or do they just look you up in their database?

Um... in most cases I imagine you'll be arrested, taken to a holding cell while someone is called to get you, and probably your car towed as well. You'll be ticketed for driving without a license and given a hefty fine.

They say: umm, you know you are supposed to have it with you??? (sigh) Right carry on.


There are benefits to living in Ireland. The law is usually somewhat sensibly enforced here.

Of course in Northern Ireland, where the Scotch-Irish live (the assholes of the universe) they'll put you in clink and tow your car. Fuck them.
