So I'm going to All Points West up in NYC (Radiohead, Girl Talk which is btw a fucking mind blowing crazy dance party for an hour of mashup, look it up if you havent heard of him, CSS, Go Team, Michael Franti and so ) And I got one tab of acid from a very reliable source/friend who recommend I only take one tab because it's apparently very good shit he got out in San Fran and said he only takes one cause its fucking intense. So anyway, I bought two, one for my friend and one for myself and I was planning on taking it...

Now, I have never taken acid before but I've done shrooms and I tend to be fucking retarded when I do so just keep that in mind, also I'm taking some acid with some friends tomorrow so I figure if that turns out too intense just on its own then I'll know for a fact to skip this concert with acid and just get drunk or high. But anyway since people on BLTC know their shit I'd figure I'd ask if this just sounds like a bad idea?

I'm starting to have second thoughts and I don't want to be going skitzoid and ruin a possibly great night...Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It really depends on how you feel. Some people can handle it, some people can't. I've heard both good and bad things about dropping at concerts, and I think its relaly an individual thing.

If large groups make you uncomfortable, or you think youd be uncomfortable or awkward in the situation at all, DO NOT DO IT.

If you're completly at home in a mosh pit, be my guest and youll probably have a great time.

Ive never done acid, I love mosh pits, dont get weirded out by other people and the idea sounds fun as shit, but like I said ive never tripped on acid and I dont want to go into cardiac arrest lol

dont try it unless your fuckin tough, or have benzos. hell, try ridiculous amounts of psychs anywhere if you have a sitter and benzos.

I have no access to benzos that I currently know of but I can ask around, but I'm only taking one tab like I said, its apprently good shit but i doubt its by no means a ridiculous amount

When I was doing acid I would take half and head out to pubs/clubs. It was an all round great feeling.

Acid lasts some time, and is not something i see as concert friendly. Nature, skies, woods, campfires, music, a sane and experienced accomplice(s) (tripping or not). Natural scenery is amazing on its own, and very good on acid.

Loud shows, full of apathetic, MTV generation scum.... is not a good place to lose your LSD virginity.

That is only my opinion, though....

Remember, it is your choice and nobody is forcing you to take this.

On a brighter side note: you will be in a park, so thats a definite plus.

Ive taken LSD at concerts before... I've seen Emperor, and behemoth while tripping. It was fucking awesome... the mosh pit was a little too much with all the fast movements and my vision trailing like 3 seconds behind.

But if you like whos playing and are comfortable in public tripping, itll probably be awesome.
