I get quite irritated by usernames nowadays, so I figure I'll vent. The way I see it, there are four types of usernames.
Also, this is meant to discuss videogame usernames, so I figured it should be in GPP.

10% Well thought-out names that actually make sense.
40% Anime references (aka Narutards).
25% Inside jokes that no one but the user and their friends understand.
25% The incoherent, most retarded ones (i.e. the ones that start and end with ten X's, or consist of unnecessary numbers).

I ask you, GPP, why can't anyone pick a goddamn decent username?

I can, I have no numbers, letter tags, anime referances, or inside jokes in any of my online names. They are all nerdy names, or for first person shooters I'm Biohazard.

What does it matter, honestly I couldn't give two shits about someone else's user name. I mean sure DaXXXKillaXC7 is easily the most reatarded thing ever but it's hardly annoying to see someone with the name on XBL, PSN, etc.

Yeah I hate mine. I was going to create a second account but I just couldn't be arsed. I think my PSN is cool though.

Eh, spend long enough time on the internet you learn to deal with complete idiots, a stupid name is the least of your worries. It doesn't really bother me that much so long as I feel mine is alright. It does bug me to see maybe SePhIrOtH1994 fucking everywhere.

Seriously, unoriginal names bug me, stupid names I can deal with but say there's a forum about a tv show and there's 10,000 members with a variation of the main character's name it bugs me a lot. Fuck now I see what you mean OP.

On the whole stupid names don't bug me as much as the people behind them.

I want to change mine to xXHalo420potsmokerXx.

I think it will be really cool to go by that name online.

My user name is a reference to my fursona being the center of everything I do. Categorize it as you wish.

Because i have little to no imagination concerning names.

First i used sh0x0rz3r (a long time ago(was like 13 when i came up with this))

Then i used Draziwisp (not so long ago(Psiwizard backwards))

I'm happy with the current name and have no intention of changing again.
