Lost Boys 2
Don't get your hopes up people. It isn't a scratch on the 1st. Not that anyone thought it would be.
It's not that bad but among the reasons it wasn't that good are:
1: Characters just wasn't likeable or interesting.
2: Plot was completly unimaginative.
3: Vampires now have ugly buffy vampire style faces and gruff demon voices.
4: There is just no tension leading up to its poor excuse for a climax.
etc
It's just lame really, sorry.

Re: Lost Boys 2
There really aren't many good movies in the vampire genre, and especially not in the teen-vampire genre.
I remember liking Lost Boys when I was younger, but I'd have to rewatch it. I have an idea that I probably wouldn't like it much anymore...just seems kind of silly.
Anyways, the only vampire movie I really like is Blade. John Carpenter's Vampires was pretty solid as well.

Re: Lost Boys 2
Well I've seen some enjoyable ones.
Fright night is awesome.
BramStokers (the scene where lucy is bringing a baby into her crypt is one of the best vamp scenes ever).
Interview with the vampire
Vamp
Lost boys
Bordello of blood. Pretty fun
Dusk till dawn I seem to remember being pretty good.
Fuck all these lame super hero blade underworld bollocks ones tho.

Re: Lost Boys 2
My favorite vampire movie has always been Blade. Back when it was released there was nothing quite like it. But with the sequels and the explosion of new comic book and super hero based movies it's lost some of its originality.
Bram stoker's Dracula was pretty good to, as well as "Interview".

Ah, I forgot about Interview. That was good...though it was more of a long, dramatic piece about immortality than just a "vampire flick", IMO.

IWAV was a serious shitefest. I can't stand that camp bollocks. Lost Boys was crap as well, apart from Corey Fieldman who rocks.
Near Dark is the only vampire film you have to watch.
