Default Does Iso Hash Extract CBD Too?

self-explanatory. If it doesn't, can anyone suggest a method of hash-making (using solvents) that does extract the CBD as well as the THC? Thanks guys.

So you're worried about extracting the CBD with your THC, but you're not worried about CBN or any of the lesser cannabanoids? If you want to get a distinctive high, just smoke the pot. Iso hash is pretty generic.

yeh, thanks, we know how drugs work....

I have always wished to sample the delights of good HASH. The answer lies in good extraction technique, perhaps aging or certain conditions could decay the CBN and CBD....

No. My buddy wants CBD and all the other cannabinoids to be in the final product. He prefers hash over buds but he's a bit paraonid about nvCJD... CBD is proven to prevent and halt the progress of nvCJD, so he wants CBD in his hash.

Then you need to learn some chemistry and figure it out yourself.

wikipedia says cbd is converted into thc in acidic environents. Would be interesting to see what would happen if you mixed a small amount of hcl in with it after testing it too see if the high would be different. Theoretticaly since up to like 40% is cbd it should be different.

Isn't this when the plant is alive?
An acidic soil ph results in selective uptake of minerals and metals, which could or could not affect, among other things, the ratio of canabinoids in the plant.

I am interested in the way the holy-men in Nepal temples make their hash.
There is a special process, part fiction part science..... but it works.

well seeing as hash made from indica bud seems a lot different then hash made from sativa Im pretty sure it would.. I think the only way it would be the same is if you made budder or some nuts strong honey oil..

With ISO, butane, etc. extractions, you'll extract most (if not all) of the available cannabinoids in the bud. To extract just the THC or another cannabinoid, you'll need to get some more chemistry hoo-ha involved in the process.

Peace.

I'm curious about this. Can anybody confirm whether or not the acidic conditions that convert CBD to CBN need to be during growing? I could do a test either way and give some anecdotal evidence. Obviously, if I have to grow a plant, it'll take a while, but I could do it.
