| Games People Play Games People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome - ESPECIALLY since there are public domain/shareware emulators of nearly every older computer/console available these days. Here's a taste of what awaits you: Nintendo-vs-Sega-vs-Sony, Console-vs-PC-vs-Mac, Hardware spec sheets/information, Industry news and discussion, Software reviews, IRC conference announcements/Reports, Emulators, Emulators, Emulators! ... and much, much more! |

What Needs a Sequel?
I made this thread a while ago on my old account, so this is just a repost.
What game(s) absolutely need a sequel? Maybe they were just pure epic, or they were highly-anticipated but failed and needed to reclaim their honor...
Anyways.

Re: What Needs a Sequel?
I guess:
Dead Rising needs a sequel (And there will most likely be one) since the true ending left you hanging.....
I suppose Knights of the Old Republic deserves a proper sequel to tie off the crap ending in the 2nd (And not some shitty MMO that will probably end up being average at best)
Maybe a proper Sonic sequel, I mean jesus (unless I missed one of them) when was the last decent sonic game
Maybe a third Chrono game

Re: What Needs a Sequel?
Commander Keen - I don't count that shit excuse for a CK game they released on gameboy as one, I'm sure even a third person style game could work for Commander Keen and still have the same kinda feel to it. And the last CK was left open for a sequel that was never done, so it'd be nice to know how shit ends.
Bio Menace - If 3D Realms would do a sequel to this then I would run around screaming like a little girl, piss myself and pass out. Although I think it would have to be a side scroller, I don't think it'd work too well as a FPS or TPS.
Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project - The world needs another side scrolling Duke game.

It's unfortunate SK plans to make Too Human a trilogy, that game is fucking shit. What a waste of a fairly talented team.

Legend of Dragoon
Terranigma (not sure if it has one)
Half life two needs a half life three, instead of more episodes.
Dead rising
