Nootropil, etc
Just curious if anyone has any info on these "brain enhancing" drugs? Worth the money? Risks?

Re: Nootropil, etc
Nootropil - brand name Piracetam. That'll get you on the right track.

Re: Nootropil, etc
You should look into Provigil. It's shown some crazy results and is being touted as the panacea for students and professionals everywhere. It was originally created for narcoleptics, and basically shuts off the drowsy/sleepy sections in your brain, allowing you to focus unbelievably hard on whatever task is at hand.
It's available online, cheap too. Quick Google search can tell you everything you need to know.
As far as it being worth the risks, only you can decide that for yourself. Provigil for example, IIRC, was shown to cause an MI in at least 1 patient. It's exact mechanisms of action are a bit mysterious, but it seems like the most promising 'smart drug'.
Google the rest biznatchhes
