OK, I took 125mg of Benadryl (2 and a half pills) then when it kicked in, i was experiencing double vision and heaviness, and etc... tipical benadryl OTC intoxication sort of thing. But then my arms were really sore, so sore i couldn't sleep. Is this normal?
Should i have taken a tylenol to ease the pain. It was really bad.

What are your thoughts?

You didn't even take half enough to trip. Pain in the arms is a little weird. But i take about 100-125 when im not drinking just to sleep and all i get is a good nights sleep out of it.

I didn't want to take any more, cause i usually take 125-150mg and i get that extreme pain in my arms. and i can't sleep or focus on my tripping because of the pain.

for me, they DO work for everyday aches and pains. not as much as opiates do. but they are effective.

Edit: I forgot to mention something. From my personal experience when I fall asleep on that shit, I wake up hallucinating and forgetting what I took so all the random people and insects are as real as if they were physical beings.

I've actually done a similar thing.
I took about 200-400mg 1-2 times a day (often towards 400mg and I believe only on the third day did I dose once) for 4 days and I didn't stop "dripping" (What I call it) for a good 5 days at least, with after effects going for at the very least a week after that with smaller effects, all visual, mostly very unnoticeable, small auras around light/shadows in peripherals/etc.

It's was both a very pleasant and unpleasant experience, I went through times of enjoying myself to time of severe fear for my health. I would never recommend anyone trying this and I will never do it again but I don't regret it, I learned A LOT about both "D."s that I was able to incorporate into later "drips" with beneficial effects.

This is how I learned a lot about inducing OBEs, having better control in my lucid dreams and a bunch of other things.

Now, I like deliriants, so the fact that I enjoyed it for the most part (60/40), would not likely be common to most people if they tried it. This was a couple years ago now and I feel I gained overall skills in that one week that I still use today when I'm on K, Shrooms or anything else really.

I think what stuck with me the most is that my senses are controlled by my brain and I can control a large amount of my conscious brain as well as chemicals can too, I rely on my senses, but always know that they are not to be trusted 100%. That, and that I seemed to gain a much stronger hold on my mind, I feel very much "in control" since then and haven't had a "bad trip" on anything since, though I never really had one before then, perhaps just a little more uncomfortable trips then I wanted.

I do not recall if I wanted to take that much at that speed and so I've come to belief that the dosing after the first was largely influenced by my delirious state of mind. That, is a scary thought.

After doing it a few more times (obviously not in binges) I stopped, I felt I had gained all I wanted to from the drug and didn't want to put myself in anymore risk by searching for more knowledge/skills/whatever.

in response to the OP, i typically take 250 to 350 to have a solid trip, and ive never experienced severe body load to the point where i was in pain, just uncomfortable and such. soooo... maybe start taking different drugs? since apparently diphenhydramine is NOT a good drug of choice for you...

125 Mgs? Thats not shit compared to when I tripped on benadryl. I took 33 of the pink tablets. A total of 700 mgs. It was fucking sickening, I did not sleep all night long and it made me feel shitty. The "hallucinations" were not worth a good god damn.

From experience, I will tell you that Benadryl is extremely harmful to the brain and the trip isn't what one could call enjoyable. I don't regret doing it myself as I believe in trying something at least once but you shouldn't do the drug expecting any kind of euphoria, dissociation, or any other sort of pleasant sensations.

DPH is the exact opposite of the effects desirable of a recreational drug. From my own experience with taking 500mg of DPH, I felt restless, paranoid and scared. My limbs felt extremely heavy. When getting up out of bed (where I spent most of my comeup and plateau) I would actually heavily bring my feet down as I walked, lumbering like a 500 ton giant. I had to grab on to the walls. I was extremely sensitive to light and turning lights off in the house would result in my being shrouded in a most profound blackness. I couldn't see shit in the dark but the light would always burn my eyes. I took about a thousand pisses. I didn't spend a waking moment without a trip to the bathroom every couple of minutes. Lots of immature people will also find it amusing to know that my penis shrunk to sizes previously unimaginable to me. The fear of death and paranoia were extremely disturbing and unavoidable as I knew that I had not taken enough to actually kill myself but I felt as though I was going to die. It can best be described as a feeling of impending doom. Since I hadn't read up too well on the 'Dryl, I didn't actually hallucinate in the beginning because the room I was in had a bright ceiling lamp on and I was unaware that visual hallucinations worked in a darker environment. However, I heard voices. For instance, I heard my dad outside my room yelling bizarre commands to me such as to "wash my hands" at 3:00 AM no less. I finally went to sleep disappointed by the terrible sensations and lack of visuals. Sleeping took the greatest effort because I kept "forgetting to breath". Not only were my hands shaking violently throughout the entire trip but when I slept I would occasionally be awoken by violent body spasms. Literally out of nowhere I would walk up as I my body suddenly lunged upwards in bed. The next morning I woke up and was feeling extremely scared and paranoid because the effects had not worn off and I thought I had done some permanent damage to myself. My hands shook like I was diabetic, my limbs felt heavy and, OH FUCK SPIDERS. Yes, I saw them in my sparsely lit room. Tiny ones of huge legs were scurrying about the walls weaving webs, big ones the size of a grown man's fist were fighting my cat under the table, "normal" looking but oversized spiders were running everywhere. A bunch of fruit flies were rapidly swarming around my ceiling. I kept leaving my room to go to the bathroom. Whenever I would come back the spiders would start approaching me in a menacing fashion, chasing me out. Going outside, it was even more insane. Imaginary people pushing me from behind, having conversations with people in an entirely different setting, living my normal everyday life, all in my head. I would suddenly snap out of extremely vivid "dreams" and find myself still outside, walking down the sidewalk. The clouds were made of cotton candy too... don't ask how I knew this. Even after the strongest effects wore off, for the rest of the day, staring at walls for a few seconds would cause them to start rippling like water and a strange cloud of gas or something to form in my vision and start to approach me. Touching it would make it disappear. One final thing I should mention is that the shit makes you stupid. Literally. Don't take it if you need to go to school the next day.
