BLTC: Cure my pain
I'm currently sitting here in considerable leg pain from moshing too hard (hardcore fans kick you when you slam them, who would have thought?) a few days ago.
I'm at home, and I only have access to household meds.
It's starting to inconvenience me, I can't walk up stairs and I can barely get out of my seat.
Drug/Dosage? Asprin, Paracetemol, Codeine, Iboprofan, etc. Which would be the best?
Preferably I don't want to start tripping balls, as my family will be home in two hours.
And no, I can't be bothered to go see a doctor, if it was fractured or anything then i'd be in more pain than I am, this is just annoying.

Re: BLTC: Cure my pain
Best bet would be the codeine, although codeine is pretty weak. Try taking 60mg and work your way up from there.

Re: BLTC: Cure my pain
BITD, late '80's-early 90's, my friends and I used to quaff 4-20oz of Robitussin DM, depending on tolerance and how messed up you wanted to get. Once it hit me, I would feel no pain for at least 18-24hrs. My friends and I called it getting tussed. We used to walk or even jog for miles without feeling a thing and none of us was a runner.
I heard they lowered the DM from 15ml to 10ml so you would have to take a little more to achieve the desired level of numbness.
As far as the codeine goes, it's pretty weak but if you don't have an opiate tolerance, it's definitely your best bet. All it used to do to me, before opiates unfortunately became my constant companion, was make me itch like a swallowed a poison ivy bush.
