Default Fix a loose gunstock?

Its pretty loose, maybe a 1/8th inch gap. I was thinking like super glue, or gorrila glue. or tape. idk, any thoughts?

If glue wont work, I was thinking about cutting off the end, and making a pistol grip or something idk.

idk why i said gunstock. dam google confusing me with their resorts...

What kind of gun?

Don't make a pistol grip. You'll be making a pistol, depending on what it is. That's a legal no-no.

Oh, yeah. I didn't put two and two together. Alright, you can make a pistol grip per federal law. Shotguns are the exception. Hmm. Have you tried wood glue? How exactly is it loose? Loose between the wood and metal?

Hm, You couldn't really aim it, its to loose. Where the stock meets the metal, I can peek in and see theres like, no wood securing it into the metal of the gun, but a rod or something comming from gun into the back of the stock.

Havent tried woodglue yet, I got some in the garage. but its wood to metal though...

In this case, I recommend some epoxy.

I'm going to try and draw a diagram.

[{

Wasn't that hard...

[ being that metal
{ being the wood.

I don't think theres enough room to glue.

Get a two-part epoxy and bed it. People normally do this to precision rifles but it can be used on any piece of loose gun furniture.

Coat the metal parts with wax, mix some epoxy, apply it to the wooden stock where it is loose and insert it into the receiver. Wipe off the excess, let the shit dry, pull it out. The epoxy should stick to the wood and have molded to the form of the gap, but won't have stuck to the metal. Clean the wax off the metal, reinstall and you're done. Should fit like it was made for it.

Here's a link.
