Ok, my friend just started growing pot, and hes completely new to it. He told me he has a place in his attic that seems perfect and even sent me pics. However, since he is new to growing, he needs some advice. Any advice from seasoned marijuana growers is appreciated.

The main questions I am asking are:

1: How and when does the plant bud?
2: Does it need to pollenate?

Oh yeah, and its name is Nixon :p

So... help a n00b out? I don't know much about it anyway, so in case I decide to start growing it would be nice to know how...

It will start to bud after it gets less sunlight. It needs 24 hours of light for 12 weeks then 12 on 12 off. Theres so many different methods.

Why don't you just look up a growing guide. Theres thousands of them on the net. Even a couple on totse text files.

It's not going to survive.

Go to icmag.com and read up on lights and air ventations.

I think I'll do some more research, but it's nice to get some first hand tips as well. If it was mine I would more vigorously research it but like I said, my buddy is growing it. It's actually not mine.

As my friend tells me more on how his plant is doing I'll post updates. I hope Nixon doesn't die and we can all smoke him together eventually...
