so i got a pill of adderall from a friend, and i dont know much about the drug. obviously its not pure amp, but its a XR 20mg pill.

since ive never done adderall before, is it worth taking this one pill, or should i sell it to some stupid kidiot fiend for like $10?

20mg is the lower end of the scale, but you can try it. I doubt anyone will pay $10 for an adderall, unless you know some extremely stupid fucking people.

Well, I'd take it for sure lol. Check the trip reports, that's usually what I do...check a few of them.

it'd be usually worth $1-2 / 20mg. i mean, dude. if you can get $6-10 for it, i'd say take that. 20mg XR won't do jack, unless you want to use it to like study or do homework.

Dissolve it in water and shoot it up your ass with a turkey baster. That's the only way you'll get anything worthwhile out of 20mg.

I love how the general consensus in BLTC is that anything less than ~50 mg of mixed amphetamine salts isn't going to have an effect on someone.

It really doesn't take as high a dose of amphetamines to achieve basic baseline effects as some of you think. Just because you're not tweaking and chewing your gums into a bloody mess doesn't mean that the drug isn't working.

chew up the beeds really good and snort it and you'll feel decent off 20 mgs for first time.

20XR isn't really that great.. It's a 10mg dose and then ~6-8 hours later it releases the second 10mg dose. If you crush up the beads and parachute it, you'll be good for a night of heavy drinking and talking to people about religion.. And $10 is insanely expensive.. I think only a high school kid would ever think of paying that much.

(Though 20XR would be great for a night of studying/a day of physical labor/working a double at your job)

Generally if you're asking about it here you're interested in the recreational effects of a drug. 20mg isn't very recreational, it's just a mild stimulation. Sure, you'll feel something, but it'll be as intense as having one drink, a very subtle buzz. Like someone said earlier, it's great if you want to get some homework done but if you want to have a proper amphetamine experience you need at least 40mg.

Crushing the beads doesn't rid you of the time release, by the way. It's an improvement in the whole process of XR to IR but I assure you that the pharmaceutical engineering of Shire's laboratories is designed to a higher degree of sophistication than that of a teenager with a screwdriver and a shot glass.

Why get rid of the time release? Just double the dose and enjoy the effects twice as long.

Ah, I didn't realize Adderall XR used ion-exchange to release the amphetamines. Usually get dex XR's around here, which AFAIK definitely aren't. My, how drugs have changed. I stand corrected.
