Different people in me
"Your right side of the face gives an evil smirk. Your left side is full of fear. You can hear a voice in your head that tells you that you should have done something different. Your right hand raises and turns into a fist without your control. You don't know who you are anymore....Your accent changes, your body changes, you look different, you feel different. And then, you close you eyes and wake up and realize that the person you thought you were isn't really you. You laugh maniacally with a deeper voice that you recognize. You notice your not afraid anymore, but full of anger and an insurmountable lust for revenge..."
I love Alter Egos. I have about eight or so personalities running around in my brain, aching to take control of my mind. They all have different names, some are male, others female. All of them act in different ways to resolve a certain situation. Usually they aren't connected with my conscious self at the time and I have to use the words "we" and "us" as pronouns when I talk. But, when the time is right, and I need all of their help, I combine into one whole person. And it feels great.
You know how I combine them as one? Chemical balance, eat everything properly, all vitamins of the day, and minerals, with some carbohydrates and proteins;
I roll my eyes back, absorb everyone, and I turn into something amazing. It feels as if I truly know myself, because all those people are me, and yet they are all so different.
Do you ever get the feeling that you are turning into somebody else and you don't even know it? Have you ever had a feeling where you turned into a monster, or something completely different?
I'd like to know, talk to me.

Re: Different people in me
DID never fails to freak me the hell out.
Your post though, sounds like something out of a movie. I could totally imagine Christian Bale or Edward Norton saying something like that.

They're the type of actors that can perfectly portray insanity.

Re: Different people in me
Which one wrote the quote?
Post isn't that scary. It's something for sure; maybe a little unsettling, even mildly disturbing, but doesn't sound like dude is a danger to society or anything.
I used to feel dissociotive all the time but not to the point where I could identify different characters. I can't remember much about it atm, probably because I'm not smoking pot and meth anymore. After a brief stint with antipsychotics after treatment, then some more pot and meth and some legal trouble, I decided to let my insurance company pick up the bill for my problems.
Now on Wellbutrin, Effexor, Adderall, Valuim or Xanax, and still working out scripts. Actually trying to work with the meds and caring about responsibilities in my life kinda pulled me back to reality.
I often look through my old notebooks/journals in awe at the things I came up with. I miss being able to see things how I did but i'm too scared to try to get it back.
Not sure if that's the input you're looking for or what... post was a kinda vague.

Get off the meds and stay off the illicits and you'll be able to see things 'how you did' and be able to use it in a beneficial way.

Re: Different people in me
to tell you the honest to god truth friends; I wrote the quote.
I'm starting to make a novel of my life, including all the weird that is me. The end of the novel is supposed to leave a moral of who we actually are as humans; and if there really is something like schitzophrenia, and multiple personality disorder, or is it really just people aching for attention.
For me, creating people in my head keeps things always like a movie; where my life is always interesting, even if I don't tell anybody about it. Keeps away from boredom, and helps your sanity (sort of).
You don't even need any material for this game in your mind. You can make your people in your head as dramatic as you want, as long as you keep contact with them. You can even kill them off if you don't like them... without ANY consequences :P Now THATS POWER. XD

Man, basically what I am trying to portray is try and find your TRUE SELF within all the personalities that you have. I'm thinking that maybe you should try to get your creative powers back to allow yourself freedom again. Remember though, you need a BALANCE, try not to go overboard either. But if these drugs help your creative side, then by all means DO IT MAN.

Re: Different people in me
It sounds like you're just fucking around here, real Dissociative Identity Disorder is extremely rare and some seriously messed up shit. It's not like "oh I have people living in my head and I can access them at will and combine them when I feel like it"; it's more like, daddy raped you every day for 10 years and the only way you could adapt to this was by effectively becoming another person. These people are utterly alienated from themselves.
