Saw 5
http://youtube.com/watch?v=VsqR8eA2Z6w
Just a teaser, but anyways...who is gonna go see this?
I've seen all of the Saw movies...I'm not even really a fan, but it's sort of become a Halloween tradition. I liked the first one the most, the 2nd was okay, the third was lame, and the fourth was fairly entertaining.
I might pass on part 5 unless it gets good reviews. I'm getting tired of them peddling out nearly identical movies that all have some lame cliffhanger. I want to see some better direction, less-retarded plotlines, and cerebral traps that don't just rely on the promise of gore. (ie. the original bathroom trap from the first movie is still the best, IMO).
Here's hoping.

Re: Saw 5
Man... It's a shame all the mindless youth flock to see shitty movies like this and prolong their existence.
Saw started sucking after II.

Re: Saw 5
I really really want Ed Norton to finally star in a Saw movie, I think he would play the role perfectly.

Re: Saw 5
I'll probably go see it. I don't ever expect anything too mind blowing out of a saw sequel, but as the OP has said; it's sort of become a little halloween tradition of mine.
but what I do hate is how at the end of each film, when the twist is revealed it plays that song, under Jigsaw's tape recordings, with those scenes flashing like hell. trying to be all epic and shit. just doesn't really work...I wish they'd stop with that.

Re: Saw 5
saw was so cool and unique when it first came out, everybody remember that? now they've turned it into just another gay horror franchise with a billion sequels. great job, dicks.

Re: Saw 5
I think people enjoy the movies because it's like a games how, and if you lose you die. I always had dreams of this happening before the movies even came out.. So, I'm pretty freaked out by the movies.

I dunno. Being forced to watch 3 minutes of brain surgery in the middle of a movie isn't my idea of a good time.
