Hypocrisy

[Big Steamers]

I was reading, paths connect village to village by the beating of feet along a path of least resistence. People avoid rocks, trees and shrubs. To lead astray from this path may be logical. You perhaps shorten travel time, but you are a hypocrite.

Both paths are logical but one is not contemperary. Is unwillingness to immitate the definition of hypocrisy?

English please?

If your statement is: People travel the path of least resistance, but go out of their way to not resist, you may have a point.
