Default Old Camaro Keys...

Ok so I have a set of car keys and one of them is to an old 1975 Camaro that I do not own any more. My question is if I ran into another car, same make and model in a parking lot would I be able to use the old keys to get into and start the vehicle?

Lightbulb Re: Old Camaro Keys...

I saw something on cops the other night, basically they pulled over some red neck with a stolen red pickup with broken tail lights but any ways when they pulled him over they asked him to put his keys on the roof of the car when they found out he had a criminal record for grand theft auto they looked at the key to see how he started the car when they looked at it they saw that the ignition key had been bent on a certain angle the po po said that this happened very often. so idk maybe you could find a tutorial on how to do it if you get some results let me know.

Fucking no.

Can I take my Deadbolt brand key and unlock your Deadbolt lock bought at the same time?

WDC, ok but I mean this is 1975 things weren't very high-tech here. I'am hoping for some kind of similarity to make it easier.

Sorry, I forgot this is 1975, maybe and maybe not. Maybe file the key to make it less sharp.

Good luck, take pics.

not only will you have to alter the key but your also going to have to find another 1975 camaro parked in a secluded space. Im i canada so i dont see very many all american muscle cars so it would be quite a task to find one hidden im not sure how common they are in ohio but good luck

think about this for a second. just one.

it's 1975. you're itching to buy you a brand new camaro (remember, it's 1975). you go to the dealership and see row after row of shiny new camaros. you pick out the red one, sign the papers and drive home. but oh noes! some guy across town also bought a new camaro! he saw you leave the dealership and followed you home. he'll be back at night to use his keys to drive your car home.

do you seriously fucking think all 1975 camaros would have the same key??? do you not see a huge problem with that? 1975 isn't exactly some old timey peaceful time where people licked popsicles on the front porch all day.

my guess is the key would fit into the ignition, but you wouldn't be able to turn it. and i don't think you'd be able to unlock the door anyway. AND even if you did have a key that could start a car, so fucking what? you're still stealing a car that you don't have a title for. it will be reported stolen by the owner.
