Every time I'm out of weed...

I scrape resin with a paper clip, look thru old sacks, even smoke stems/small amounts of corner shake.

It's never worth it, as it's a 30 minute tease that you sometimes aren't even sure is real.

But I still do it.


But you gotta make sure you can procure a next sack quickly, or else the next night you'll be scrounging again..

and i've smoked some nasty ass carpet bud too, dirt, weed, crumbs and hair all in it..

I recently cleaned out my keyboard and have a massive pile of all kinds of shit, only god knows what in the hell is in there. I am going to clean it up one day when I am bored, and hopefully have a nice little cocktail of some clean drugs.



You talk about cookie crumbs, etc, what you do to weed out the bad, and keep the good for something like that is spread out whatever you collect on a metal surface, and just go around and gently heat all of it. Dope will melt and stick, while cookie crumbs won't. You can then just gently knock the rest of the crud off, blow it off, whatever, and then use a razor to collect all the melted dope up.


No contaminants, or well, at least no cookie crumbs.


Some of you folks really need to learn how to separate the good from the bad. Smoking hair? Fucking gross. It isn't hard to clean up whatever you find, use your brain.


For me, it's boredom. I can take it or leave it. Sometimes I don't even bother cleaning and using what I find for several days. And it's always fun to find a mystery concoction several weeks after collecting it, with no idea what the hell is really in there. Sort of a mystery to solve. Fun shit.

I save all the stems from all the bags i buy, I've got roughly a half ounce right now of stems.

The original idea was to make butter out of them one day when I'm really fucking bored/sober, but instead, i was taking off alllllll of the small amounts of bud still left on each of them, and had a fat pile of a nice lil' COCKTAIL of cannabinoids. I'll still use them one day to make butter with, though.

A friend suggested to me that I get a tap and die set, and make new threads. I should get one anyway, but I will buy a new glass bowl before I buy something to fix the piece of shit I am stuck with.

i got in the habit of saving stems too, for making goodies in times of low smokeage. well, fuck haven't done that in a while, got a couple of bags of stems...

i got a glass peice that has a spot that you just can't reach, and its finally getting to the point where its starting to cake shut if you don't ghost hit it a few times to melt the shit outta the way...

but for those of you still into junk, save up your bags and scrap the fuck outta em, you'll be very surprised..

After scraping a shit ton of bags, you can take those "cleaned" bags, throw those bitches in some water, evap the water and end up with dope you didn't even know existed.


Water really is the best and easiest way to clean up a lot of things, though, for keyboard crud it is going to take a bit of work I think.

If you are going to get a new one, you should go to that smokeshop in Hazelwood shopping center. I got a 6 inch bong for 20 bucks, and a metal pipe for 8 bucks. They are very reasonable. Speaking of sweet glass bowls, they have ones that look like animals for 25 bucks. I bought the fish one.

I've done this many, many times. It's funny reading the replies to this thread, as I can relate to pretty much all of them.

As of right now, I'm working full time, so I haven't needed to go scraping for pot crumbs and resin. And I'm not doin' the hard shit lately because I just moved to this town last year and I don't have hookups. So it's all good.

I recently moved to another country and realized that not knowing the language makes me quite a target for anyone that isn't in the local private english speaking high school. Unfortunately its fucking awkward for someone of my age to be hanging out with 15/16 year olds... so I opened up the big box of stuff that I carefully packed with all my important/sentimental stuff, hoping to find something to pass the time, and to my surprise I found some residue... on the knife in the multitool, which I used mostly for drug related things, was a speck of THC oil... approximately the size of the asterisk symbol on a keyboard. After not smoking weed for 6 months that little speck was enough to give me a slight mood lift... followed by a deep longing to go to Amsterdam, considering I comnpletely smoked my "absolute emergency stash that I didn't even know I was stashing."

Personally I don't get that desperate for a smoke, if I'm out of money and out of weed I can survive without picking bits of bud out of the carpet. Mind you I'm so careful when I'm rolling or packing iv probably only dropped about a gram of shake in my whole life.

On the other hand all my weed stays in my grinder and I do have the irritating habit of smoking the kief out of the pollen catcher the day after I run out and never get the chance to collect a reasonable amount.

Scratch my last post. I just dug a little deeper to find a plastic bag with enough crumbs to cover twice the letter Q on a keyboard and managed to scrape some hash out of the teeth of my pliers. And so, I have just smoke the "in case of the dire emergency of smoking the emergency stash" stash... I officially posses absolutely no illegal intoxicants.

Scraping and picking up little bits of weed off the floor is standard procedure for me every time I finish a sack. It's not out of desperation or anything, it's just seems like a waste not too.

One day i decided to clean my room for the first time in 6 months. I searched in every corner, every drawer every pants pocket and every baggy.

i scramble up shake as much as humanly possible, too many times to count. my girl gets to the point where shes picking weed looking crumbs off the floor of the car.....

I save all my baggies so I can scrape em clean when I'm dry. I can usually come up with a decent bowl but after that you know you've gotta go find more which is always lame.

I usually always smoke blunts... so typically I have like 15+ roaches laying around in assorted areas. That's usually what I end up putting in my bowl.

Although lately, with having to pay for classes, I haven't been buying as much bud... so I have been scraping up shake. I've done it before at a friends house, but never because I was out of bud until recently.

I always just liked to turn the infamous resin/kif balls into tea/butter. A hippie friend of mine made weed cookies dusted with cooked kif once, that was pretty awesome. As far as shake, me and my friends at the Batcave (our bunker of sorts) really enjoy the search for "table weed", which are any scraps of weed hanging out on the smoking table. There's also ashtray weed, floor weed, breakup tray weed, and of course, the weed that tends to collect at the base of a plastic bong.

I was reading how some people searched their carpets for some shake and whatnot... and I just found a small bud. I can't express how happy that makes me feel. I found a bud about a bowl's worth next to my computer desk's wheel.

o_O Nice. I've only had some once or twice, loved it. Not only a good high, but it tastes delicious in my opinion.

Only a couple of times, but I always feel kinda dirty when I'm doing it. I've gone through my wallet and licked all my cards front, back and sides a few times when I've just run out of powder too. And licked a laptop. Had a friend that licked the floor of a pub toilet cubicle when he spilt ket too, but that turned out to be where my line was.

shit after i scraped the 2 nice ones, I broke the 5$ one just to get the resin out of that bitch. Didn't even get me high. oh well.

the reason i never accumulate much "garbage" is because I pretty well SCROUNGE every last bit the day after my sack runs out.
