I have a lot of mental problems and I know a lot of other people who do also. Shrooms has done nothing bad to us. I can't really say the same for salvia, that stuff messes with my head when I use it.

There's probably a slight chance you may have a bit of a psychotic episode but if your friends are there and you can trust them it doesn't matter, they'll keep you safe.

I have never known anyone to flip out or have a psychotic episode from shrooms but it's possible.

Well, one big question is how old are you? That could be the deciding factor right there. If you're under about 22-25, I'd say hell no. There is a chance that you have a mental disorder that just hasn't shown any symptoms yet. Schizophrenia usually doesn't show real signs until the person is in their early 20s.

If you're over 23 or so, I'd say go for it. The chances that you have something that hasn't shown any symptoms by then are very low.

This isn't true at all. If you've got people to make sure you don't flip out and hurt yourself, it doesn't matter if you have mental problems. Even a "normal" person is better off having a trip sitter. Shrooms are for whatever reason, unlikely to trigger any mental problems. Much less likely when used responsibly. And it's not like you'd be permanently insane after using them. Fuck, if you even need to ask then maybe you shouldn't use them.

I think I'll work in a mental hospital just so I can give shrooms to schizophrenics and record the results. I just want observe how they react to it... Most of the schizos I've met didn't have complete freak outs. They just had crazy thoughts sometimes, heard voices and strange sounds and occassionally saw strange things that weren't real. I don't think a shroom trip would make them freak out if they're happy to begin with and know what to expect.
