So, I had an idea here. I don't own a mg scale, but I do own a decent scale that goes to .1 grams. I was thinking of getting some 2C-B, but obviously I can't weigh doses of powder that small on my scale. Of course, the alternative is water dillution. I know that 2C-B is soluble in water or ethanol. I can weigh a gram or so, then dissolve it into a known amount of liquid and have a fairly reliable dose.

My thought was to dissolve it into a very concentrated solution in a solvent such as ethanol. I have access to clean insulin syringes, so I'll be able to measure out small amounts of liquid. I was going to take this and squirt a single dose into the bottom of a can, or something similar. Let that dry up, scrape up the powder and gelcap it. I know it will work. I've seen similar methods that, instead of drying out the powder, cut it with something (I think corn starch) added food coloring to differentiate dosages and gelcapped them.

My questions is what other kind of solvents will 2C-B dissolve in? I would imagine that just about any non-polar solvent would work. Alcohol takes a while to completely dry up and I'd like something quicker.

I am also interested in this. And I don't mean to jack your thread, but I'd also like to know if you can store a solution of 2c-i, as in, if I let it sit for a long time, is anything bad going to happen?

It's best to store RCs as powder in a sealed, amber vial. Failing that, I would imagine that ethanol would be better than water to store anything.

As far as how long it might last, I can't say.

Why dont you just do a powder dilution? Look it up its easy I used to do it when I made xanax capsules when I had pure alp powder. Its easy Im not explaining but you take the active chemical add a powdered dye equal to the active chemical and mix till the same color the add a ratio of an inert substance and mix till the color is the same. Do the math to find the ratios so you know the mg dose per like 100mg of this new mixed substance. I used to have 2mg in 100mg of the mixed substance and it was a pretty standard dosing there was no real heavy or underdosed capsules.

ethanol would probably be your most readily available solvent... ether is a bit more volatile than alcohol... but you can evaporate decent amounts of alcohol pretty quickly with a hot water bath... if memory serves 2c-b is pretty stable...

The first time I used cool aid mix because I couldnt find any dyes. But I found a package of dye in my house that I used the second time.

OK, just because I suck at math: I'm getting 2 grams. I'd like to make it so that each .1 gram of final product is 10 mg. This means that I'd add 2 grams of Kool-Aid and 6 grams of sugar for a total of 10 grams of powder, correct?
