I just got a friend request on Myspace by this guy Alfanso Blackwell
http://www.myspace.com/1alfonzoblackwell

and his drummers style is really legit. It's kinda funky while still keepin it swingin and poppy.
Can anyone give me some other drummers like this?

What type of drumming do you like? Only that type?
What do you listen to?

adam deitch

he's in a band with some of the members from Soulive called Lettuce. alfonzo blackwell's actually reminds me a lot of the alto player for soulive and lettuce. But yeah, lettuce, soulive, and the sam kininger band is what you should check out.

Just go to http://www.drummerworld.com and have a ball.
