Physical contact with women at work
Ok I'm gonna try to keep this brief as Its been playing on my mind and I just want a few opinions.
There is a girl who I work with, We get along well. I feel attracted to her personality as she is fun to be around and she is my kind of person. I don't "fancy" her enough to persue her ass but if push came to shove I think I would go there.
She has a partner and so do I.
A few weeks ago I found out that she had had a "romantic dream" about me and in this dream we were a "little naughty" I took this well as any guy would and we have joked and flirted around the subject... all fairly harmless fun.
Over the last week or so she has become more touchy feely, hands around hips and on shoulders and arms, also she has grabbed a nipple on a couple of occasions. As you can imagine I have taken this with good humour and though not too much of it.
Then last night we found ourselves on the same shift and towards the end of the night she spanked me on the behind. I immediately returned the favour striking her squarely on the ass with a stinging open hand, much the way one would whilst in the throws of passionate doggy sex. This did NOT do down well. She got a little shitty with me saying she was "having a laugh" and I "always take it too far" and hers was a "playful spank" but mine was a full on "bondage slap"
Ten minutes later I feel we were cool. There were a couple of witnesses. Am I worried about nothing?
How should I behave the next time I see her?
Should I play it cool, joke about it or step back from her and not engage inthis slightly inappropriate flirtasious banter?
Fuck..... could I lose my job, my girl and end up on the street eating out of bins?
Thoughts, solutions welcome!

Re: Physical contact with women at work
If you get busted, take her down with you. I'm assuming that wasn't the only shit there have been other witnesses to.
Sounds like she's got some kind of whack double-standard going on in her head that she uses to justify what she's doing when she's not with her boyfriend. Continuing in that trend does not sound like it will turn out well for you.

Re: Physical contact with women at work
The way you're carrying on is highly inappropriate and unprofessional for a workplace setting, not to mention you're flirting with a potential sexual harassment charge. Cut it out.
Also, if you have a partner either dump her or stop being all touchy feely with this woman at work; it's borderline cheating.

Hmmm.... and there's your slightly blinkered female perspective.
Yes I am fully aware that flirting is cheating's ugly cousin but EVERYONE does it. I suppose I was being a little naive forgetting that these issues are heavily weighted in favour of the girl. I know that I have fucked up. There is nothing I can do to change what is done so am looking for advice on how I should handle this situation and what, if anything I should say when I see her on Tuesday.

Re: Physical contact with women at work
Ok maybe you shouldn't have done that at work. You can't really be too flirty when you're at work cause there is other people around. If you really wanna fuck her just take her out although idk if she wants you.

Female perspective is irrelevant; physical contact is inappropriate in the workplace, and inappropriate when in a relationship. It's not cheating, but it's really not something you ought to do.
What you should do is apologize to her and then never mention it again. Tell her you're sorry, you were having a good time and took the joke too far, it won't happen again. That's really all you can do.

That situation sounds arkward.
She defiently doesn't like you, otherwise she'd try and laugh the spank off. She probably talks to her friends about the creepy guy at work.

Re: Physical contact with women at work
Yes it is... fucking awkward. Well two weeks ago I walked passed her, she said "Alright stud" we started to chat and I complimented her on her shoes to which she replied "you're just creeping 'cos you know I fancy you"
The was a few days after she told me about her dream. She definately DID fancy me but now I don't know. I spose I've been different around her since before... lapping it up a bit where as before I use to tease her a lot more. Think she may have gone off me since I started being nice?

Re: Physical contact with women at work
I think it depends on the kind of job you have. When I was working in restaurants, that sort of thing was okay. Everyone was really physical. Now that I have a corporate job, it's not like that.
If your girlfriend was doing this shit with another guy, you'd be pissed. So think about that.
And if you do happen to get fired for it....you'll have to explain that to your girlfriend.
Stop being a piece of shit and start respecting your girlfriend.
