Games People Play Games People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome - ESPECIALLY since there are public domain/shareware emulators of nearly every older computer/console available these days. Here's a taste of what awaits you: Nintendo-vs-Sega-vs-Sony, Console-vs-PC-vs-Mac, Hardware spec sheets/information, Industry news and discussion, Software reviews, IRC conference announcements/Reports, Emulators, Emulators, Emulators! ... and much, much more!

Angry I just bought True Crime: Streets of LA

What a fucking waste of 99 cents.

This game is absolutly fucking rediculously stupid.

The driving controls are so terrible that you can barely turn without doing a 360 spin.
The fighting portion of the game is boring and has a clumsy feeling.
The shooting is unrealisticly homosexual, and aiming is impossible.
There is no tutorial that teaches you basics of the game.
The "playing cop" portion of the game is incredibly un-unique and every single arrest you make is the exact same as the next one you'll end up doing.
And the story, fuck it. It's stupid.

Yeah the game is complete shit, although some of Nick's one liners were comical only because they were just so bad.

My personal favorite was:

The ladies call me quick Nick for a reason......ergh not that reason.

Try driving up a hill or something and watch your car flip the fuck out, because terrain isn't included in that games engine apparently.

Yeah, this game was total garbage..and the "boss" fights were so fucking cheap..not because they we're hard to beat, but because the game was so poorly made.
