Gypsy Music
On an airplane I was listening to this CD by a composer Sergei Trofanov. It was called Gypsy Passion and had various Russian, Hungarian, Yiddish, etc. songs. Two I liked in particular were Dark Eyes and Two Guitars (well known songs, if I'm not mistaken). The predominant instrument in all of these songs was the violin, by the way, not to be confused with Gypsy guitar.
Does anyone else like this type of music? Who/What would you recommend?

For both of you, I highly recommend buying this: http://hooked-on-phonics.com/
I'm looking for Gyspsy violin music, along the lines of Dark Eyes and Two Guitars. I hate repeating myself when people don't read my thread and start derailing the topic.

Re: Gypsy Music
Could you post some examples, most of us don't feel like hunting down those songs.

That's why you're okay in my book. These other cocks didn't know what type of music I was talking about, so they just posted random shit involving the word "gypsy". But yeah, I was hoping there'd be a couple posters here who knew this genre well and could make recommendations. If not, no worries...I'll just keep searching until I find something I like.
