Alright, I know there's a strong association with homosexuality and mac computers, but I want to know once and for all what you guys think. As someone who works with computers as a programmer every day I would much rather use a mac or linux computer than windows. However, after purchasing my new macbook, I've received nothing but criticism with people saying "macs are gay" or "only homos use macs". So my questions are these: if you met a guy who swore to the use of macs and that's all you knew about them, what would you assume about their sexuality? Does what kind of computer they use even weigh into your decision? What stereotypes and trends do you see with mac users?

PS: Yes, I realize the absolute rediculousity(sp?) of this thread, but I felt it was worthy of a topic. Deal with it!

Mac =/= gay.

I wouldn't want to be with a girl who judged me based off of my computer - thought that idea is kinda stimulating - thinking about what a nerd she must be if she does. But by that same logic, if she were such a nerd she'd already be using a mac

I am not a fan of Apple's user interfaces. They are bewildering, convoluted, and ugly.
