Ban me!
My original thread was deleted for some reason awile ago but if you havnt read it basically I decided to give my two cousins aged 11,and 12 some ecstasy. Now i didnt force it upon them they did want to try it, they had been looking through my room and stumbled on a big full of pills. They asked me what they were and i truthfully told them what they were, what they did too you, why people do it, etc, etc. After I explained this to them they really were excited to try it so i said if im going to be high watching them, we might as well all be high. I planed on giving them only half of 1 pill, but when they both ate the half they wanted more, and me being high too i didnt see anything wrong with it at the time. They were both not looking to great at this time, i think i gave them to much for there size, both were drenched in sweat and couldnt really function/move for a little bit, eyes rolling back in there heads, usual rolling symptons. After this initial freakout it got alot better and we were all really enjoying ourselves in my apartment. I'm taking care of them again next weekend and they want to pop again, i think this time we are going to go out next time. Has anyone else given drugs to minors? how was the outcome?

You're such an idiot. These are ignorant kids. They're going to let something slip to their parents, or get over excited and tell everyone at their school. One phone call from a teacher and you're fucked.

You gave drugs to an 11 and 12 year old. You trust these kids to keep their mouths shut? You're so incredibly stupid. Have fun in jail.

if the kids were 14 or 15, well then, maybe there would be possible justification in giving them that, because they can get some on their on ultimately via high school. but eh, man, 11 and 12 is too young. i'd say refrain from giving them ANYTHING that isn't soda or candy in the future, dude.

knowing 11/12 y/os, they will say it on "accident" no matter how many times you tell them to keep their mouth shut. trust me, they cant keep a secret for shit.
oh and my little rule i us: requirement for using drugs: must hit puberty first.

Re: Ban me!
While the OP is an idiot, this does allow us to question: How young is "too young"?
I started drinking at 14. Smoking at 16. I've done everything else (acid, E, shrooms) in the past year.
But I know a lot of people who started at 12. A friend of mine spent a year at age 16 growing and eating mushrooms constantly. Every day. It was, actually, a pretty bad year (then again, he was in Owen Sound, ON; fuck that city).
I think if I had started doing all the shit I do now at age 12 it would've fucked me up. Hardcore. People can say what they want, but there is a maturity issue here. I think age 16/17 is a pretty acceptable age at which people are probably ready to accept responsibility for what goes into their minds and bodies.
What do you think, &T? Let's try to salvage this thread from the black fucking hole of fail that it is.

Age is just a number... and anyone who flipped a bitch at the OP should go sXe immediately, as there are "older" and "wiser" people ruling your government who say that YOU are not "mature" enough.

Re: Ban me!
I thought about this too, man. All of my friends started with weed when we were 12/13, some even 11, probably. When I was eleven, I was "grown up, dude!" and thought I knew everything, so since times are getting worse, I guess they could be doing drugs in as early a grade as fourth. In middle school is was mostly marijuana and alcohol, but in high school it was psychedelics, higher-grade weed, and pills. I was about 14/15 when my friends did all this shit, but for me, that's when I first tried weed so...
NEW STARTING AGE = 10!

Re: Ban me!
You should've just given them weed or nitrous or something fairly harmless.
MDMA is too much for kids that age to handle, not only could it fuck up their brain development but it's not like they're going to even be able to appreciate it like someone older would. It's just not a drug that anyone that young should be doing.
All the people I know who started doing MDMA at young ages are pretty fucked up from it. Bad idea man.

Re: Ban me!
As far as when to start doing drugs, when I was younger, I thought that 13 was a good age. I made my brother wait until he was 13 before getting him high for his first time. I'm only 2 years older.
Now, I'm 22, and I've seen a little more of the long-term effects. I have friends that started smoking and drinking at all different ages. I've noticed a definite correlation between the age that a person starts drugs and the likelihood of them heavily abusing hard drugs. I think it's just that you get over those stigmas of each drug at a younger age, and of course the older you get, the more likely you are (in most cases) to make better, more informed decisions.
Maybe you're 15 when you first try heroin and you haven't had time to really see any of your friends get bad to learn from their mistakes instead of your own. You start doing heroin, and by the time you're 19, you've got a problem that you just can't kick. But if you'd have waited until you were 19 to start, you'd probably have had a couple friends OD and would be much more respectful of the drug.
I've thrown the whole "__ age is good to start drugs" mentality out the window. Now I have to get to know the kid. Some are ready at 13, some aren't really ready until they're 33, some are never ready.

Re: Ban me!
Troll, but interesting thread regardless...I smoked weed with my older cousin for my first time when I was 12...I handled it well enough. Didn't tell my mom about it til I was 19 and she's done peyote and all sorts of crazy shit so she doesn't really care.
There are some pretty hardcore people out there though at young ages, last year for example I bought some of the best coke I ever got from a kid who was 13 years old. It was fuckin AWESOME, type of shit that when you snort it, all of a sudden warmth just goes down your whole body.....

Re: Ban me!
You better hope that nobody gets wind of it (assuming it's true, that is). If you suspect that they are going to tell anyone, or that they may have already done so, it'd be advisable to deny everything, and have a lawyer on speed dial.
A friend of mine gave his younger brother (11) a few cones of weed, the kid loved it, and subsequently told all his friends about it. One of his brother's friends told their parent, the parent told the school, who called my friend's parents and the police.
Now, personally, I don't see it as that big of a deal (so long as it isn't forced upon them), but the law takes a dim view on it. My friend got a hefty fine, and could have gotten time if the cops didn't decide to be lenient. His brother was forced to undergo counseling sessions.
They take shit like this very seriously. Like I said, I have no personal objection to it (it's not the best idea, admittedly, but if the kid makes a decision that they're ready, and they want to do it, it's their business), but if it were me, I wouldn't be supplying them with it. Because eventually they're going to say the wrong thing to the wrong person, and it's going to come back to you, and when it does, it's going to come down on you like a ton of bricks.
