Swim was building a throwaway shotgun. here are the plans

the red is a hinge of some kind, that swim filed a groove in the bottom of, that has a hole in it, that is held to the stock with the black (close hanger) looped around the other end. The green is screws that the rubber bands will go around, and the purple is a close hanger bent into a hook, and filed to a point.

There are two problems. one, the primer has to be hit really hard for a bullet to go off. And the only thing swim can think of, is just make sure there is ALOT of pressure on the hammer from the rubber bands.

the second problem is everyone says they use tape to keep the barrel on, but it seems like it would be possible that it could fly off if it does go off.

im also interested in pen guns. i've tried this, but i could never get the pin to hit hard enough, because i had to use really weak springs.
