Girls go through odd fazes like this. Pregnancy isn't the only thing that can cause bizarre hormone surges, sometimes they're just random. You say she's late for her period? Sometimes girls skip periods for no reason but still get all the symptoms of PMS (this could account for the weird hormones if they were more dramatic recently) Also, if she's being medicated for depression type stuff, how can you tell that she's being moody because of "girl stuff" as opposed to her medication just not working that well. One last possibility is that since it was her first time she's just uneasy about the whole situation and every little blip in her health/emotions is blown out of proportion by her emotional confusion.
