Debt Free
How much money $$$ would you need right now to be debt free? And, who currently lives there life debt free and how is it? How does it feel knowing that you have one more car payment left?
I would need about $30,000 dollars.
Car payment
A few loans
That's about it. I'm not much in debt. I hear some people have it worse.

Cool. Do you live with your parents or an irresponsible adult that has no bills because he/she is not self established? I really don't see how anyone 18+ through early 30's would have no debt, well, unless their parents are rich and pretty much paved the way for their kids.

Re: Debt Free
Totally debt free and in college. My parents definitly aren't rich. My dad just happens to work at the college I go to so I get in for free. All I have to pay for are books and those are easily covered by my three jobs. My car wasn't running when I bought it so it was only $400. I rebuilt it for under $500 so I don't have any debt on my car.

Re: Debt Free
No debt for me.
As long as I'm in university, my parents are paying my way. They don't spoil me though. All my spending money I make myself.

Re: Debt Free
I'm 18, live on my own, and am debt-free. I bought my car outright and unless I incur some large unforeseeable fees in the near future, I will PROBABLY be able to put myself through college without student loans.
Haven't gotten more than $10 from either parent since I was 14.

Nearly $2000.
I can probably get it within 6 months, if I manage to juggle school and a job.

Re: Debt Free
I'm debt free. It doesn't make much difference to me since I don't spend much money, so it pretty much just goes into savings and investments.

Re: Debt Free
I'm debt free and I'll pretty much never get be in debt to anyone. However the down side is I can't really touch any of my assets right now and probably won't get the other half until I'm 25.

Re: Debt Free
Here in the prison state of NSW, australia, the government lets us borrow money to go to university.
so by the end of my degree ( 5 years) i would rack a debt of about $AU15000-25000

Re: Debt Free
I've got various medical bills from a bike wreck, I'll have some more from my most recent wreck. My car I paid off with the settlement from my first bike wreck I also paid off some of my student loan, but there's still about 10 grand there. bout 2500 left on my credit card that I had racked up from living off of it for awhile. bike was paid off cuz of the first wreck it was in and i bought it back with a salvage title. my dad actually owes me a few grand that I loaned him. so while I'm not debt free, I do have some debt but it's still manageable. I had planned on paying everything off with my settlement but I didn't get as much as I had planned, and I spent more on other shit I shouldn't have. oh well

Re: Debt Free
Debt free unless you count student loans and rent for next year. Being in debt really isn't something to be proud of.
