I personally do the reverse. Gulp down a few cold ones the first half hour, takes shot to get me where I want to be, and then always have a beer in my hand to help keep me where I like to be.

the reason liquor after beer usually makes you sick is because you're already pretty drunk and you're drinking shit that fucks you up real quick so you won't know when you're about to puke until you're on the toilet

Probably haven't puked from booze in a year and a half... Being drunk, and someone driving like shit is a different story. That's why I got my DUI, I can't STAND letting other people drive, I get car sick with other people even when I'm completely sober. Myself behidn the wheel, it never happens.
