Default Music that's hard to find...

You ever find an artist that you liked but wasn't major enough to find at a music store, on the internet, or probably a flea market? I found a track today from Mobb Deep's first demos, and the guy featured on this track "Mobb Deep f. General Germ - Up North Trip" was pretty decent it sounded like, but it seems like he never did anything else. I've had this happen before with a lot of rap and some stuff from rock musician's early careers. it's generally not noticed and people don't save it (because a lot of it is relatively crappy) but it's still cool I think. is there a resource for relatively unknown music like this?

Your best bet is small, locally owned CD stores. They usually have crazy ass shit no one else has. And no Hannah Montana or other corporate money makers in sight.

Where I live, the music stores don't even have any decent Slayer cds.
I saw a used copy of a Shpongle cd once.
No Psyopus, Into the Moat, Calvin Harris, no Massive Attack...
Hastings sucks.

It's hard to find GWAR around these parts.
But that's why we have the Internet.

There use to be these guys that use to bring all the newest metal/hxc/punk/grind to all the hxc shows i use to go to and the cds would be for the low low like 5 bucks... and legit copies as well.
i haven't been out to many shows in a loooong time so hell if i know anymore...
it would be cool to find a shpongle album though... i usually stick to the net though.
theres plenty of record/cd stores in ATL so I'm sure you can find just about anything if you looked hard enough.
i heard its hard to find rare/older ween.
