So If a person decided to use mushrooms I know that once your body reacts to the psylobin you build up an immunity and therefore cannot use mushrooms again for about 2 weeks correct?

Is this the same for LSD or could you trip 2 seperate occasions in say 1 week?

LSD tolerance builds up within a few hours and lasts 3 days at a minimum to a week where youll get similar effects. I like to wait 2-4 weeks between to keep them other worldly and meaningful. I abused it for a period of 6 months and im still having trouble getting the magic back.

Tolerance to psychedelics (except for DMT, IME) is about the same. If you trip one day, you're going to need twice as much the next day for the same trip. In about a week, you'll have no tolerance at all.

Other people are going to argue this (they always want to say it's 3 days) but this is all from experience. From the studies I've seen, yes, 3 days should theoretically work, however EVERYTHING works in theory. I've done tolerance tests myself (cause I've had it like that a few times) and it's about a week for mushrooms or LSD and they have cross-tolerance.

Never used P.cybin close to LSD to know about the cross tolerance but I've certainly tried to trip on LSD two days in a row failing miserably. I gave it a day and tripped fine afterwards. I took more though to make sure.

lsd and psylocybin definitely have a cross tolerance, and i think waiting five days inbetween trips is effective enough.

well they pharmacologically do the same stuff. dont quote me, but i am pretty sure taking lsd, than shrooms the next day is exactly the same as taking lsd, then lsd the next day

Not exactly the same. I'd say you'd have to do 150% of the dose you're wanting to feel the effects from instead of 200% or so. Still not worth it to me.

I've always thought of psychedelics as tools myself. They teach you a lot of things, one of which is that you shouldn't abuse tools. Of course, LSD doesn't speak English (only picture language and feelings) so it gives you tolerance to say "Hold up, man, you need to chill for a bit."

Yes, I know how crazy I sound. And yes, I wholeheartedly believe that psychedelics have a soul, a mind and can speak to me.
