Well in honor of the success of the Nolan Directed Batman Revival. I would like to hear your thoughts on who the next villain will be, and who would play this character, and furthermore, why. Most likely Harvey Dent will appear in the third film as well, but that aside I am sure they will have a new rogue.


My contribution to the start of this thread: The Riddler, played by Brad Pitt. Why Brad Pitt? Watch either 12 Monkeys or Fight Club, and no further explanation is needed.


Also, what made me think this is the man who wanted to blackmail Bruce Wayne after discovering the blueprints for the Batmobile had an interesting name, Coleman Reese. His name in a professional manner would be Mr. Reese (mysterious), which I took as a hint.

The Riddler and Black Mask have been named as most likely, with Catwoman thrown in there somewhere (if you caught the hint in The Dark Knight).

Nolan hasn't ruled out The Penguin, himself. but he has stated it would be a little tricky to fit him into his more realistic take on the batman universe.

also: rumor has it that the guy who attempted blackmailing Wayne in TDK is who ultimately becomes The Riddler.

How'd they hint at catwoman?

I must have missed that part.

I remember something about a cat... but the only realistic villain I see is The Riddler.

i can see catwoman and harvey dent/two-face more so than the riddlers for some reason (would be sweet though).

they should keep it realitistic but bring back danny devito and arnold schwarzenager as the penguin and mr. freeze.

I couldn't see them doing The Penguin, since he is the lamest character ever. Although in The Batman he was cool because he had cool gadgets and these ninjas that followed him around.

Catwoman is pretty lame too... and I picked up on the cat reference too.

Can't do the joker again, for obvious reasons.

So I guess I'm not really sure at all heh. I could see them doing a lesser known villain though, to mix things up.
