I had 2 firecrackers (weed/peanutbutter/cracker sandwhiches) in my pocket, and when I went through the metal detector I unbuckled my belt and unbuttoned my pants, without taking my belt off. :( I was a little distracted and tired. That was kinda scary, having the metal detector going off... You get 2 chances, I think, before they use the wand.

Dude, people get on flights shit faced all the fucking time. Are you kidding me? Either drunk, or fucked up on the benzos the doctor prescribed them because they're afraid of flying. Seriously. Airport security deals with thousands of people every fucking hour. Why would they care if you look stoned? I have no clue how the security is wherever you are, but I would just put it in my pocket, unless it's a metal bowl. In which case I would put it in my luggage, the one that isn't in the cabin. But seriously when I glanced this I thought it said bowels...

Forget the resin, for real. That shit is not worth catching a drug paraphernalia charge over. Isopropyl alcohol and sea salt, pour a bunch of both in a small tupperware container, throw that bowl in, let it sit for a while, and shake the hell out of it. Scrape it if needed, repeat until sparkling clean. And yes, this method WILL make that bowl clean like it's never been smoked out of if you do it right. Put it in your luggage and go, even if they decide it's worth taking a close look at, as long as it's clean and you don't go alluding to it being used for illegal substances, there isn't really much they can hassle you for over it.

If it were me, and it wasn't like a really nice expensive piece or anything, I'd just completely bake out on the way to the airport, I mean seriously toke the fuck up, and then ditch everything and head in to enjoy my flight

I talked to a friend a while ago that works in Canadian airport security, they don't look for bowls and don't confiscate them; however, that doesn't mean that other countries do the same.

For example, the US swabs suspicious, as well as random, baggage, that's going into the country, for drugs. Canada swabs baggage, that's coming into the country and leaving the country, for bombs.

Canada's only anti-drug tool at the airport is the dog.

i heard that, luckily, they only use narq-dogs in international flights. mine is DOMESTIC, so i don't believe i have to worry about any narq-dogs.

i want to save the resin if possible. i heard that pouring out the water from boiling a bowl into a coffee filter works best for catching it, so i'll probably try that out. the only thing i'm worried about is that they find the bowl, see a bunch of resin in it, and confiscate it for that reason...

I brought a pipe that I bought in Jamaica back into the United States and they didn't do anything. I just stuck it in the checked baggage though,I didn't try to carry it on.

Domestic airport security is not a dragnet for casual drug users. You should carry any illegal drugs on your person though, all checked baggage is randomly checked and sniffed, and obviously they see everything in your carry on.

Stick it in a ziplock bag or 2 and seal it(vacuum preferably). Then wash the outside with acetone/alcohol/whatever works for getting rid of the smell.

The airport isn't particularly interested in people carrying around drugs for personal use. They're interested in someone who is going to endanger the welfare of the flight crew/passengers.
