| Games People Play Games People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome - ESPECIALLY since there are public domain/shareware emulators of nearly every older computer/console available these days. Here's a taste of what awaits you: Nintendo-vs-Sega-vs-Sony, Console-vs-PC-vs-Mac, Hardware spec sheets/information, Industry news and discussion, Software reviews, IRC conference announcements/Reports, Emulators, Emulators, Emulators! ... and much, much more! |

More Portal
I know the whole "CAKE IS A LIE XD" and "STILL ALIVE" fan boyism is shit but we all still agree Portal was a solid game. I didn't see it anywhere else so I thought I'd share what my friend shared with me, some more maps in a portal style of gameplay.
It plays just like portal with round about the same length so I hear (not played much myself) so if you fancy playing Portal again but can't be arsed to replay the same levels you know of by heart then check it out.

Re: More Portal
I liked it, but it's really quite hard and not in a good way. I remember one of the rooms is solved by standing on a box and then jumping toward a window, and when you get close to the window you aim down so that you can hit this tiny area of floor. I don't like when a puzzle is solved by trial and error rather than the solution becoming apparent to you.

Re: More Portal
I played this before I bought portal actually, it is much harder than the normal game in portal. The advanced stages are tough though.

Re: More Portal
narbacular drop. this is the game first designed by the creators of portal. in fact, the entire team for this game is now employed by valve.
most of you probably already know about it. just thought i'd add that here. certainly worth playing.

But you need portal to play these.
It's not the browser based flash portal, it's more portal maps done by those people.
