Every negro gas station I went into yesterday was selling "Barack Obama: I Believe In Change" t-shirts. The back of the shirts had some speech about the mistreatment of minorities, which I'm not even sure is his.

I didn't see any McCain or Ron Paul shirts for sale.

Its not like they were enslaved by white people, denied basic rights by white people up until about 40 years ago and of course we haven't had ONLY white men for presidents...I mean that would be undemocratic if all that happened...

Weird why black people would want to elect someone who hasn't had a history of fucking them in the ass for the past 200 + years...

And just a side note to my overly saracastic comments, republicans generally tend to favor the majority (i.e. white people) over the minority (i.e. black people, brown people, yellow people). The statistics are overwhelming, so seeing minorities supporting a conservative president would be strange...And not to mention the fact Ron Paul is out of the race so having an "elect Ron Paul" sign would be kind of retarded...Oh and in case you didn't know, John McCain voted against having Martin Luther King Day as a holdiay...So yeah, the fact that he obviously doesn't think very highly of MLK (Its a fair assumption), the guy who essentially freed black people for good, probably didn't blow over to well in the black community. ...

It's not even about liking Obama. Blacks statistically and disproportionally vote for Democrats. What is it, about 99% of blacks vote Democrat? I wonder why that is.

Because democrats (theoretically) are more sympathetic towards the lower working classes and the impoverished (this tends to be the minority alot. I.e. black people) and try to do more for civil rights and minorities. Have you never studied the civil rights movement? Look at which people from which party were primarily responsible for getting black people basic rights...

Your acting like this is some sinister move by black people for supporting candidates from a party that is historically pro-minority and I can't tell if you're dumbfounded or if you actually think theres a problem with supporting a candidate who will benefit you the most...

If Condi Rice was running for President as a Republican, blacks would call her an Uncle Tom and vote Democrat. Speaking of the Party that has fucked blacks in the ass, the Democrats were the Party of slavery, the KKK, segregation, Jim Crow laws, all the way up until the Republicans passed Civil Rights laws. The New Deal, Great Society, War on Poverty, Democrat programs, have made things worse for blacks. Chicago and other big-city Democrats have kept blacks segregated in their crime-ridden ghettos by doing absolutely nothing to help them.

Democrats haven't done shit and yet they are rewarded with 90% of the black vote.
