Well basically i need to know some good ones i will be able to get prescribed to me.
I don't want any shitty Prozac or herbal sleeping tablets. I need something which can work pretty much strait away.
As you can tell i don't know much about this type of shit. Please suggest some.

Xanax, or any benzo would be appropriate, or an opiate, though i doubt you will be prescribed either for depression and sleep problems. Could you maybe specify on the situation?

Basically seriously depressed. None of that oh no im depressed emo shit. Actual real depression.
But the sleeping problem is that i can't sleep at all. I stay awake for about 40-50 hours at a time.

As far as Antidepressants goes you'll likely be given something like Lexapro, but as with other Antidepressants it takes some time for the meds to work their way into your system.

For Benzos you'll likely get something like .5mg Xanax or Ativan.

Sleepers will probably be Lunesta or something of the like (Bad taste ahoy!) but if you really have trouble sleeping you may be able to get Seroquel. Good luck with that shit :)

If you're depressed just know that none of the meds you'll get will be a quick fix. It takes time and you get discouraged and give up on them...don't do that. If you dont think theres a difference after a week or two you can request a different type of Anti-D and go from there.

Could you possibly tell me about some of that stuff. I looked up a few things on wikipedia before i posted here but i couldn't tell the difference between any of the shit.

EDIT: and the depression is where i have been considering killing my self over these last couple of weeks. Thats as far i want to go into that.

yeah, lexapro is a better accepted anti depressant if you seriously need it. problem is, there's no generic lexapro out. so you'd be forking over a lot of fucking money to get it. unless, that is, if your shrink/doctor talks with your insurance so that it could cover the costs, or at least most of it. but word of warning man, these... SSRI's, work for some, not all. did not work for me.

sleepers? i'd recommend just getting benzos, they'd do the trick for relaxation + insomnia, and can really help battle your depression if it contains some aspects of anxiety. if you can get some ambien with it, well, shit, go right ahead. klonopin, xanax, valium, all are good benzos, if you were wondering which to choose.

if i were a doc id put you on 75 mg effexor XR for depression and anxiety. you sound slow and fatigued - a product of depression.

that, along with 10 mg ambien per night.
