I hadn't seen it in years, so I watched it again today. Man...what a great fucking movie. Everyone is all batshit over Superbad, but it really doesn't get better than American Pie. Great characters, hilarious, and it generally stays pretty grounded in reality. The main characters are just average guys, not complete (social) retards, no obnoxious subplots involving retarded cops...plus, it hits home with the whole teenage male sexual obsession thing. (Not that I've ever fucked a pie).

Anyways, who else thinks this is pretty much the definitive teen/high-school movie?

Porky's is superior to that movie in every possible way.

American Pie is a classic in its own right. It definitely kicked off the whole teen movie crap that is out now days (though that's not necessarily a good thing). Unlike the recent plot vomit, the characters and setting were believable and bullshit high school stereotypes didn't rape the movie.

Yeah that movie is fucking awesome....
