So I got a Job at McDicks...
I walked in there and basically got a job handed to me. This is only for a short while, partly to pay for my car, partly to get out of the house, and partly because it's 3 miles from my house (In the country that's fucking awesome, it's on the Thru-Way).
So anyways I plan to do about 1 weeks worth of good work and then go downhill from there until they are forced to fire me. I have over 20 friends/good acquaintances that have worked there and gotten fired for not showing up, making prank phone calls to the restaurant, swearing in front of customers, and stealing from the cash register.
So I was wondering, how many of you have ever worked there. And if so, what kind of bullshit can you pull and what's easy to steal. I have a friend who still has the mayonnaise gun.
Give me some ideas for getting fired.
This is going to be a shitty 2-3 weeks.

I worked there for nearly 4 years. The one I worked at rewarded you with free meals if you had a "perfect till" (neither up or down money), gave you free meals if you do your station well (not down meat, fast making food times), etc.
Why don't you just work, and get the money they will pay you? If you're positive about it, it's not that bad of a job. You can also use it as a future reference for a better job.

I forgot to mention I vowed never to eat their food again. I haven't eaten a bite of McDonalds in like 7 months or some shit around there.
I already have a badass job reference anyways. If anyone knows Fucillo car dealerships...
But I am also waiting for the drugs to get out of my system and waiting until after I move to get a permanent job.

It's all truckers so maybe. On of my friends used to get like tips and shit from the truckers because she would always flirt with them. They even invited her out to their cab on her lunch break a few times.

This is what I am talking about, I am going to say outrageous shit to the customers when they finally put me on the register. Probably not on a really busy day when everybody is around but whatever.
Something to the effect of 'meow' like on Super Troopers, but not meow.

I have no clue what part of Texas you are in, but where I live the economy is so bad, you couldn't buy a job.
My solution:
Build a website

Re: So I got a Job at McDicks...
Charge a customer muttering a language that doesn't exist, after giving yourself war-paint with mayo ketchup ect.
Easiest way to steal from a register---->
Everytime you give someone 9 dollars in bills, give em a 5 and 3 1's. People hardly ever count their change, and by the time anyone DID notice they got shorted 1 dollar, they are miles away stuffing their face. Keep track of the cash, and about an hour till you get out, take out a single bill saying it was a tip.

Because I'm not familiar with the economy of texas and what major cities are doing to cope. All I know is that texas has an oil industry.

I used to work nights (saying "work" is a stretch as it was not very busy ever), when we got a customer, I took the cash, started to count the change, someone else handed out the bag, by the time I got the change ready (which wasn't long but stretched it out a bit) the driver was gone and we got to keep the change.

Dont take me seriously, i honestly dont know what its like to work at a place like that, ive only had respectable jobs.

What "respectable" jobs do you speak of? How did you get them?
I worked at McDonalds. I likely have more motivation in my finger than you do in your entire body. It allowed me to make the money to move on to better things.

youre right, flipping patties and deep frying slivers of potatoe make you a much better person. if its such a life expanding job and the starting point for greatness like you claim, why do they pay you as little as they are legally allowed to? (i.e. minimum wage)

oh and you get a respectable job by graduating high school and going to college. then apply places. see how much better than McD you can get. even though i know you have moved on to bigger and better things, which i applaude you for, i still believe... McD sux.

Things McDonalds did for me - paid me MORE than minimum wage (min wage when I started was 6.40 and they started me at 7.10)
- opportunities to get promoted (Crew trainer = 0.50 raise)
- Confidence to actually talk to people (less shy)
- reasons of why punctuality is important
- helped me make friends
- money so my parents didn't have to support me
- Gave me a small scholarship and helped me pay for college
It's the fact that having a job makes you more responsible, or at least you should.

I've already had way better jobs than McDonalds, I've been a cook in a restaurant before. The people who work there tend to be sub humans. I'm going to college in a month and this is just very temporary, I'm going to the employment agency to get a job like my friend did. He works in a lab making artificial heart parts.
As I said, this job is to make a bit of cash for my car and for the dick of it.

I understand where you are coming from, but the McDonalds I am working at is a joke. I've already acquired my basic life skills from other jobs.

i dont want this to turn into a huge 2 man flame war but tbph the life building benefits such as "Confidence to actually talk to people", and "reasons of why punctuality is important" are skills that you should already have and what make you valuable to better jobs. if you simply arent good enough and lack those skills then, yes, it would be necessary to get some "remedial training" at McD. im not saying working is bad, just that McD should be staffed by the illiterate and immigrants because they are who possess the bare minimum level of skill required.

It does help you build confidence. Not everyone has it. It helps enrich the knowledge of why punctuality (and other things) are important. It also helps you deal with a variety of people and understand how to make them see things your way.

I worked at burger king for 2.5 days before I broke the sink spraying water everywhere and laughing/clearly not giving a fuck about it, calling a fat bitch who worked there a "fat bitch" and to "eat another whopper" and refusing to stop spitting in the garbage cans.
fuck I gotta get another job. I can feel myself losing muscle mass.

Maybe you are a downer. Perhaps instead of being as bad as possible at your job to cover up for the fact that you are incompetent you should work a bit harder and improve. Congrats on stealing 2 dollars though, off an old woman.

Haha I know man. The second day they put me on making sandwiches and I almost puked at the beginning. I don't know how they call it food. I am pretty sure the fries are the healthiest thing they may cook there.
But in anycase I made it to 3 days working. I woke up this morning and just decided to not go in. And I'm not going back until Thursday to get my paycheck.
I made about $140 and I need another $100 by the 17th of August to keep my car. Lololololol.
Fuck McDonalds. Yesterday was my last day and I gave my friend's like $30 easy in food. A big BLT box chocked full with strips and nuggets, a few large fries, etc. etc. Worst fucking job ever. I rather work 8am to 9pm washing cars for 13 hours a day again.
So this ends the McDonalds chapter in my life, hopefully forever.

I don't understand how you could want to spend the rest of your life there, it's so fucking depressing. The managers work just as hard, if not harder than the kids. The step up about it is the little bit extra money.
