I got scripted 60 kpins, whoohoo, anyways 10 days later they were gone. The bottle says I can refill twice until the end of the year. I was ASSUMING this required a 1 month interim before eligibilty. Can anyone bring me up to speed?

If you're supposed to take it twice a day and they gave you 60, you have to wait 30 days. They won't refill it until your prescription is supposed to run out.

You can usually get away with a few days ahead of time. A friend of a friend who worked in a pharmacy told me that pharmacy policy allows refills at 80% of the script being gone, but that seems a bit much to me; it'd mean you could refill 60 K-pins with 12 of them left. I mean, I've gotten away with 4-5 days early (with K-pins coincidentally) but the few times I did I always seemed to get some sorta initial hassle over it.

Insurance is different too so be sure to check that. Otherwise, give it a shot at about 26-27 days or so.

Depending on the Pharmacy you can swing it a day or two but not much more than that.

I've used this for opes and it worked, of course it was only 2 days behind.

Too many idiots used this like....well, idiots, and failed miserably, so now they're a lot more strict about that kind of thing.

Then again, my friend's crackheaded father called his psychiatrist 5 days after filling his Xanax (and selling the whole script to my friend and I for rock) and told them that he accidentally tipped over the bottle while it was opened and that 3/4ths of them spilled down the bathroom sink. They actually DID give him another script....but they were real certain to let him know that it would never happen again.
