Custom Homemade Drum Finishing
I posted this in DIY and tried to search google but thought I might get better results here.
I'm trying to interpose portraits across an old floor tom. The drum wrap is silver and the material just feels like plastic. I'm wanting to use black and white for the portraits for a noir-ish feel. I'm wanting to leave the original wrap on the drum since it is just an old and cheap drum and trying to remove the wrap on it would prolly only cause damage to the shell. What would be the best type of paint to use? Or are there maybe any alternatives to use? Money is tight so I'd prefer some cheaper methods. I'm not wanting to paint the entire drum, only put little portraits around the drum (think of the polka dot/star finishes some drums have.) Any ideas?

Re: Custom Homemade Drum Finishing
So you want to put logos on your drums?
Couldn't you have just said that other than confusing us?
Look into silkscreening.

That's because you're pretending to be stupid. Again.
PS: If you're trying to do proper grammar (punctuation, etc) at least capitalize the first letter (and since it is an "i" it should be "I").

3. if by agreeing with you i am pretending to be stupid, would that not make you... legitimately stupid?

Yeah, right. You got to be kidding me. You of all people can't understand that?
Pfft.
Don't peg yourself that low, or do you really lack the ability to comprehend that? Rofl...

Please, if you're gonna miss the point (multiple times, you're on a roll), at least do it properly [with a few spices of troll].

I'm wanting to actually paint the designs on and don't know what kind of paint I should use. Or if I should even be trying to paint onto a drum wrap. That's what I'm asking.
