&T, is it wrong to not have morals?
I've lost all idea about what it is to be happy and what it is to be sad. I've still got anger, though. Things happen around me and I don't care about it. Normal things that people would feel either sad or happy about. I can't really explain why I'm like this, I just am. The only "feelings" I have are the negative ones. The ones people don't like, don't want. But, again, I don't care because I feel there is nothing I can do about it now. I was talking to a friend awhile ago and she told me that it would eventually pass, that it was a stage of my life. I told her that I hope I stay like this. She asked my why and I told her it's because I don't feel pressured, I don't have as big of a burden anymore. Why should I portray an emotion when the time is right just because someone thinks I should? &T, what do you think?

I don't understand the link between morals in the title and emotion?

Having morals isn't a problem as long as you behave with morality. Understand morals, (I'm sure you understand them), and use them in your day to day life, otherwise it's likely that people will think you're an asshole or a bad person.
Morality seems to be a societal requirement in many circumstances, so use them.

Yeah, looking at it now I see I fucked up in conveying what I was trying to say. But, what Asshole said was pretty close to what I wanted to say. Yes, I understand morals and I "have" them at the right time, the truth is that I really don't care, I just use them to... for lack of better words "save my ass." I don't care about the situation, I just care about myself and my well being. To me, I am the most important person in my world, my needs are to be met before anybody's.

It depends on the morals of the person you ask.

That's great. Morals are just a liability. Everyone creates they're own reality, only you can decide what's right and wrong. I'm amoral, the concept of right and wrong is completely illogical to me, I don't care about others.

Im exactly the same way. People always ask me if theres something wrong because i dont smile much or something at work. I just tell them im fine because i am. I dont care about my co workers lives. I dont care for small chat or if they went camping or any of the sports they watch. Then when "serious" discussion comes up such as someone dying or a co worker being racist i have to pretend im sad or offended, when in my head im laughing my ass off and dont give a shit. And i agree, with your last statement. I too view myself as number 1. No one is more important than me. Not family, friends, lovers. No one.

It's not "wrong" in fact you have an edge in many ways over the people who do. However, you should definitely give the impression that you have morals or else you aren't gonna fit in very well with society.

I know this is going to sound very stupid, but the best way I can compare it is the character from Showtime's Dexter. I don't kill people, but I do have a lack of caring for people but still fake that I do.

It is the best way to live. Let no boundary stop you, whether they be physical or psychological. Be whoever you want, and change in a second.
