It seems to me that most people I meet have greed and power lust as their driving force. This isn't some random pissed off post mind you. I have noticed this over many groups of people, It isn't stuck to some small "click". Stoners, Jocks, Bros, Hos, Religious types, and Emos alike. Every group I find, I always try to be nice. Give a chair to a friend and stand my self. Give out the last of my bud, booze, and food to strangers and friends. It always seems to mean nothing. As soon as the object they want is gone, I am instantly worthless. I give a chair one day to a group of "Good friends", the next when there are no chairs they expect me to stand while a stranger comes in and mooches off of me and sits in my chair. I understand that it is good to give and I have no problem helping the person be comfortable, but damn it seems like once in awhile someone else would take some falls for them selves. Its not just small things either. I have been nice enough to every group of friends i have had, but eventually I grow tired of being fucked over. They inevitably directly insult me, and in general walk all over me. Over my entire life, the people that are generally kind can still be counted on one hand. How can I ever find a social group, let alone a woman to share my life with when they all seem to be motivated by the this over whelming greed and corruption?

sounds like your a to much of a nice guy and people are taking advantage of you. You cant please everyone and be happy yourself.

I'm not really trying to please everyone. I just believe in doing the right thing. My father had a really strong set of morals, not strict, but strong. It just seems the world is backwards of what my dad taught me.

This is sadly, very very true. Society dictates how people act and behave, and we as a generation have taken a turn for the worse. Not sure why you posted in SnA though??

It also fits because I would like to find a girl but it seems like they are all attracted to the types of guys that fuck me over when i try to be nice. In fact thats how they fuck me over a lot of the time. I am nice to them and am talking to a girl i see potential in. They come in and make fun of me to make them selves look better and steal the girl only to fuck her and be an ass.

The way i view it is that those guys will probablly rush into a marriage, have kids, get divorced and live a more stressful life because of thier immaturing/inconsiderate-ness, if thats a word. But a gentlemen like yourself will find a perfect women and live happily ever after. But thats just my bullshit theory that i just thought of off the top of my head. Suggestion, try being an asshole, it can make life more interesting that is fo sho.

haha, nice totsean advice. I don't know, I may just need to stand up for myself when it comes down to the end. I can still be nice but when it comes to them being dicks just send it right back. It just feels weird. Life is changing with our generation and i'm not sure i like it.

My only advice is to save your genoristy until people seem worthy of it, don't start giving people free shit/doing favours straight away, that's a sure fire way to get walked over.
