I take klonopin for my HPPD. I take it regularly and it greatly lessens the visuals (and insane thoughts). However when I drop acid in a week or so I want to know if the klonopin's going to put a damper on my acid visuals.

klonopin won't make the visuals weaker, it'll just calm me down, right?

It could potentially terminate the trip, or greatly lesson the effects of lsd both visually and mentally. I am not completely sure tho..

Well the obvious answer is not at all, but keep it with you so after or during the trip you can dose if need be.

The half life on the thing is 18-50hours.

If i were you i would abstain for a few days. That is if you ONLY take it for HPPD.
If it is for anxiety, or panic attacks.... tripping on LSD is not advised, unless you have a fast acting benzo on hand.

What is your habitual dose of the Clonazepam?

1mg per day, spread out in 2 doses (yes i know its low but it works since i dont take it for anxiety or w/e)

never the less, if you stop for a fed days, will you notice dysphoria, anxiety, and irritability?

As i have learned, benzos w/d is no laughing joke.

Though slight, and mild mood changes, are not a big deal in the sober state when w/d from such a small dose, they could present a problem during the mental state of the trip itself.

It is best that you have a beer or fast acting benzo on hand, to dull the trip, if you hit a very rocky emotional state.

I get irritable and racing thoughts, i have mental issues that klonopin also happens to solve but im not taking it for them. I lived with those issues my whole life (incl. the first time i dropped) so I should be fine. Besides benzo withdrawal doesn't start until after at least 2 or 3 days right?

Additional stress from the prolonged perioud of lack of sleep and food, coupled with the emotional journey from the acid. Does add to the psychological problems, particularly those held at bay via habitual use of benzos.

Just relax, and look at the trip as an opportunity to explore or perhaps resolve some of the complexes troubling you.

Don't worry, I've done acid before (and other hallucinogens) and not once had a bad trip. i'll be fine, shit i'll be better than fine :)
