Default Coke cravings

I've done coke about 7 times since the end of June and I sometimes get times where I can't get it out of my head, start to taste drips, and feel horribly anxious. I have done binges of oxycontin and it was never this bad. Sometimes I stay up in bed for 2-3 hours just trying to get it out of my head.

Is there anyway to make the cravings go away or subside? Or am I going to have to deal with this shit for the rest of my life even if I never touch the stuff again?

I have access to alcohol and benzo's, should I take them when I get bad cravings?

Thanks in advance.

Is it really that hard to just deal with the cravings? Is this a troll thread? When will the world end? Why did I bother posting this?

This isn't a troll thread but it seems every response has been.

No, I am being genuine and am wondering how to rid myself of the cravings, or subdue them. I know registration just opened but I joined a long time ago, I just mainly lurk totse.

I'm not saying it's a physical addiction.

Take something sedating to help your mind relax. Alcohol or benzos should help.

I've been suffering from the same problem, just not as severely. Like, I've been thinking and daydreaming/fantasizing about it a lot lately, and I plan on getting a job/paycheck soon to start a nice little habit... like say I get a $250 paycheck, I'll spend $150 on an eightball or so of yay, and the other $100 on weed, which I'll smoke most of, and sell some on the side for more yay.

So yeah, doing more coke is gonna be my answer to this.

I know what you're saying. I wanna get some money and just go out and buy a ball and snort my face off, but in the end it's such a waste of money.

Thanks for the legitimate help X61.

Its simply a strong chemically reinforced habit, which happens to have direct play and affinity to dopaminic receptors, thus reinforcing continued (ab)use.

As for your question, regarding satisfy the craving.

You can suck it up and be a man about it, or you could satisfy that feeling with another addiction like food, alcohol, cigarettes(I don't know which one is worse though) ect....

i don't know about all that noise about alcohol. when i get drunk i used to get terrible cravings, but that was during a period when i was doing about at least a gram a day.

you just gotta stay away from the blow, and the cravings would go away.

i remember days when i would be up for 3 days on coke binges and have the worst panic attacks while comming down. its just not worth it stay away, or cut down your usage. thats at least what worked for me at least. since i quit in january after a year and a half of heavy use. i have only done it as many times as i can count on two hands and all of those times were when i was drunk

Most people I know get bad cravings for coke/crack whenever they get drunk. My sister knew she had a drug test in 2 days, but decided to get drunk, then decided to buy some crack, and then spent 9 months in prison.

you dont get a prison sentence for 9 months...you go to a detention center, or a county jail, or a city jail...prison is for when you have a sentence of years, or decades.

Alcohol always makes me turn into a coke fiend. If you do coke while drunk you'll realize how much better alcohol is with it and everytime you get drunk you'll want some. I can't even drink without buying coke now.

This is terrible, but it's true. Alcohol and coke is the BEST and WORST combination ever. It's the best in the sense that getting drunk turns into the great and always inevitable process of buying some blow, but fast forward through the next few hours of euphoria and ultimate sweetness, when you're laying in bed trying to sleep feeling like the worlds biggest degenerate... thats the worst part.

Ive been doing it on and off for 4 years, its REALLY hard sometimes to drink without doing coke.

I never do coke without drinking, and I mean ..... ever.

You sound like me. I won't do coke when I'm sober and most of my friends are the same way. But as soon as someone gets drunk they are saying how nice it'd be to do a line we're on our way to town to grab some.

Yeah well no shit she's a fucking idiot, but if she wasn't addicted to crack she wouldn't have smoked it 2 days before she had a fucking drug test. The alcohol just kinda lubed her up. So yes, alcohol, coke, and stupidity are all to blame.

You would love slamming drinks on amphetamines, then; same exact concept, but better.

The real benefit of coke and liquor, of course, is the cocaethylene; the real reason for having a liver. :)
