How to economize your weed so you get the most bang for your buck.

A lot of people suggest that if you refrain from smoking weed for a bit, your tolerance builds up, and you'll get more high. Smoke 1 week, off 1 week, smoke more, etc.

However, I've discovered, after smoking weed for 3 weeks straight (1/2 times a day) that you don't need to refrain from smoking weed to get the best high, just mix up the different strands. I remember the first time I tried white widow, I was already pretty fucked on alcohol and shitty weed, but I still got mind-blowing high because it was a strain I'd never done before and it was crazy.

So buy 1 brand from the dealer this week, then move on to another brand, preferably a very different one (go hydro one week, cess another, skunk another, etc).

That seems to be working for me. I got some crazy piny shit with chunt this weekend, and after 2 weeks of hydro, this piny stuff really adds a new flavor to it.

That is retarded on so many levels.

Saturday a guy eyeballed 2 grams and got it on the dot.

It's very useful at times you don't have a scale, as well as when buying, to make sure you don't get ripped off.

For some reason it seems as though the majority of the people in this thread don't know what they are talking about. Eye-balling weed? What is the point? All weeds are different. If I don't see it on a scale I'm not buying it. Also, for the most part, dealers give you shitty weed, no matter what it is called. It honestly is fucking hard to find a reliable dealer. And a big thank you to xxombie for clearing up the whole quarter and eighth shit. I was going to kill someone if nobody here actually knew what a quarter or an eighth was.

To the op, I don't think your idea would work that well. The strain doesn't matter that much unless you usually smoke regular weed. If that is the case, then getting any kind of kush, or haze or whatever will probably get you really blasted no matter how much regular weed you smoke. But if you already constantly smoke good buds, then the only difference might be in the type of high and the taste. THC is THC, unless its got more of it, it is not going to get you any higher. Taking breaks would probably be the best idea.

And the color doesn't necessarily, notice how I said necessarily have to do with the potency of the bud. In terms of picking and curing, yes, you want to wait a certain amount of time for the crystals (I forgot the technical term for it) to turn a nice ember color before picking. Not to early for premature buds, but not to late when the plant starts to lose its potency. I would say a good 3/4 ratio of color. Also I THINK potent and stable strains could be prone to certain characteristics of color like dark purple or lime green, I believe.
