Wouldn't the raisins only absorb the water from the mixture though? I doubt the alcohol and THC molecules would pass through the skin of the fruit to be honest... This is what I'm remembering from distant chemistry and biology lessons.

But yeh I think the semi-permeable membrane (skin of the raisin) would allow water to pass through by osmosis, but would block the larger THC and ethanol molecules... so you'd be better off just drinking the liquid, or putting it in gel tabs or something.

Given the relatively high solubility of THC in alcohol [figure 1g bud per 1oz alcohol, and that's a very conservative estimate], one could use a tastier spirit than straight ethanol. Rum is the obvious choice, maybe something overproof for the sake of efficiency, but anything flammable should do nicely.

Did you know that smoking smells really strong and provides a different high than eating THC? It also doesn't last nearly as long.

Umm, rasins are taken off of the stems, and it creates a hole. This would work, although I have never re hydrated grapes

well for best effects i would disolve the most possible amount of thc into the alcohol... keif would provide a good surface area, warming the alcohol a bit would improve the amount and speed the thc dissolves into the alcohol.. pour everclear into a water bottle, add weed thats been blended to a dust to it, put the lid on, shake, throw into some warm water, shake, repeat until your happy with how much you have disolved into the alcohol, filter, put back into a bottle, throw in grapes, wait until they rehydrate, collect and eat... if your not high then very little to none of the alcohol was absorbed and you can still drink what you soaked the grapes in... it will probably be a bit more grape flavored than average green dragon...

if you were wondering about grapes not absorbing alochol why not just use some other dried fruit which will absorb alcohol? someone with some pure ethanol could test it with some grapes and see if they rehydrate... as far as it absorbing thc i am not sure... but i know many fruits will soak up alcohol pretty well...

This is a great idea OP, and it should definitely work. How much bud would you reccomend per every 5 raisins or so? ( Assuming we are talking chronic )
