What I usually do is let the animal smell it. If it turns around and leaves, then it obviously doesn't like it. If it starts to get happy and sniff a lot, and maybe lick its lips, then I will blow them a hit. Then if the next time I smoke, I'll let them smell it again. Some will turn away and some will want more. It really depends on the personality of the animal in question. I won't give drugs to animals that don't show much personality, such as lizards or spiders.

I got my dog high a couple times but he didn't seem to like it much so I stopped.

I remember a time I was at a house with about 6 of us in there and we all had weed. Half of us each had a quarter of midgrade the other half about an 1/8th of some super dank, and I also had a few grams of hash on top of that. We smoked bowls for hours, and the whole time we had the fan going and blowing the smoke out the window. Well, my buddy's cat was just sitting on the windowsill and clouds of smoke kept going that way. This was at about 6 in the evening and we finished smoking around 8 or 9. The cat had never moved and was still sitting in the same position, eyes wide open. After, we played beer pong in the garage until 1 or 2 in the morning and then we went back inside the house and the cat was still sitting, eyes wide open, in the same position on the windowsill...That means it hadn't moved for 7 straight hours...LMAO.

There is a wrong way and a right way to get your pet high.

First of all, just because it looks like it likes it ("Awwe look at him gobble down that food and water!!") doesn't mean it actually likes it. Just because it comes back to the area next time you're smoking doesn't mean it likes it either.

Imagine being this tiny little thing in a cage surround by large loud people who put their faces really close to you and blow smoke on you. Then you start feeling weird and you don't know why. It'd freak yo the fuck out.

And pets are much smaller then we are, blowing every hit you take on them is going to get them way to high.

And if you do decide to do it, don't fuck around with your pet while it's high. Give it some food and water (not too much that it's going to gorge itself) and a quiet space.
