Have a look through womens fashions magazines or fashion parts of newspapers and just loosely copy some stuff off girls who look good and have a similar body shape to her. I hear demin hotpants are in this season.

I would kinda appreciate not having to buy anything and study it too closely. I just need somewhere to be able to order from. If I find that I'm a complete retard when it comes to such things, maybe I'll be more motivated to study something, but I'd still want it to be free information.

When you say sporty and tomboyish, do you mean she doesn't shop in the women's section or just that she wouldn't wear anything extremely fashionable?

Well, it should be like a style in itself. Not the kind of unstyle you find it Americans who think that comfort is the only worthy quality in clothes, but the the clothes you'd imagine a female who's main interest is sports (participating) would be wearing. I'm not good with female fashion, so I can't give any better classification than that.

In that case, American Apparel has some pretty basic clothing for women that would appeal to a more sporty girl.

Get her comfortable pants, (khaki's, whites, striped, black, some jeans) make sure they fit her well, as if she's athletic she should have the body to go for it.

Don't go for that stupid maternity look that's in fashion, get her clothing that complements her body type.
