And not a moment too soon. He quit being funny at least twenty years ago.

I am so sick of his "safe" hate jokes--it isn't okay to make fun of blacks, but it IS okay to make mean-spirited and ugly jokes against women and poor white people.

While you're at it, Jay, take that little flag pin and stuff it where the sun don't shine.

I never watched Leno because I knew how unfunny he was, but I have to agree with this in general, the attitude is very common in our culture. This particular brand of PC pussyfooting masks much more subtle and insidious forms of prejudice, and ultimately accomplishes nothing. People don't realize that many blacks and other people of color don't really give a shit about racial humor, only racist humor (i.e. that which propagates degrading stereotypes and/or is indicative of blatant bigotry, etc).

Leno is better than Conan but not by much.

Either way I think the whole style of show is played out. I don't give a fuck what people like Leno and Conan have to say about current issues followed by shitty guest stars promoting whatever garbage they happen to be working on.

Conan used to be fantastic though. Leno ran out of steam a long time ago. It's a good comfort show, y'know, when you wanna just tune out for a while.

Yeah, probably the best part of the show. I used to stay up late Monday nights to see it, then decided it wasn't really worth missing sleep over.
