How can people take music that grindcore seriously? Who would want to be in a band named some dumbass shit like fucking "dead fetus" writing stupid songs named shit like "shitting blood" or "vomiting feces"

I dunno, it's a pretty juvenile genre.

If you dont get it at first then you'll never know.

I don't mind some of the grindcore that's come out of Melbourne, in particular, Blood Duster. Their music is generally good, their lyrics are amusing (Myspaceyourface is a good example) and the samples they use as song intros, god knows where the fuck they find them. Lyden Na is one of the best metal albums I've heard, disc one is deathrock style songs, disc two is nothing but grindcore and the third disc is downloadable from their website with a code and is a 20 minute long doom metal song that's just one riff repeated over and over again. They're videos are generally pretty amusing, but I don't think they've had any for their grindcore stuff, but a couple amusing ones are Pornstorestiffi and Pissstomper.
I also like Anal Cunt too, mainly for their lyrics, but they do have some good songs, but otherwise I'm not generally a fan of grindcore.

I'm pretty sure Carcass is grindcore and they're awesome.
